The Richmond Blind Bowlers League has been bowling since 1960. 2010 marks the league’s 50th year of bowling, which will be celebrated on June 18th at their annual awards banquet. There are two current members who have been in the league since the beginning. They are Hilda Baughan and Dot Wolcott.

League members are members of the American Blind Bowlers Association and Southeastern Blind Bowlers Association. They participate in the ABBA National Tournament and Southeastern Blind Bowlers Association Tournaments yearly, as well as the CBA Shootout and the mail-o-graphic tournaments. Throughout the years league members have participated as officers of both the American Blind Bowlers Association and the Southeastern Blind Bowlers Association.

The SBBA will be holding its tournament in Richmond on the weekend of November 12th, 2010.
